Got the GT/HOT BullNose out of town and up into the mountains. Trying to feel her out, what to add and what to maybe delete.
Decided to take her up to a place called Long Draw Reservoir in the Roosevelt National Forest in the Poudre Canyon (Hwy 14) here in Colorado (click the Vicinity Map). Three hour drive up to the place. It is just off the border of the Continental Divide, 10,170 ft. It was 45 degrees and blowing wind when we got there. Saw some moose wading in the water...got a REAL far away shot, but cool!
Didn't use the Galley for much, so no real test there. As for being cooped up in the inside...I got more ideas that are needed. Such as some "sitting pillows," get the table in and some beer...errrr...cup holders. Shelves are also in the deal. Still need the bigger tires and feners I want.
the temp got down to about 25 degrees outside (I have an indoor/outdoor therm/clock/alarm/moon phase gadget), but never below 54 inside. That down comforter was great (thanks Mike!!). Of course me being a night shift worker, I woke up around 0100...took some night photos with the Full Moon (Harvest Moon) while the 4 year old slept.
As per required...pics!!
