Here's a different take on a tear

Thought you folks might get a kick out of this. We had a great time building this one. Rides very nicely behind the trike. Weight is about 800 lbs. empty.

Look for it in PA.

That's different!

I like the regular trailers you have, but I couldn't find any prices...

pricing

Postby TrailerWorks » Sat May 31, 2008 3:55 pm

Hi Mike,

It sure is different. The client was a great guy and we really enjoyed working with him. A real win-win.

If you mean our stand-up height trailers, prices range from a low of $14K for a basic 11' up to $25K for a 15' with all the bells and whistles. We make them to order, one at a time, so the client really sets the price based on what they want in the trailer. We're rolling out a garage-able stand up in the next few weeks. Under 7' exterior, over 6' clear inside. That was an engineering project.

I don't want to get in hot water for using the forum for business. Hope this reply is OK...

E.

Pretty cool, I always wanted a hearse. I doubt we'll be seeing it on this end of the state tho, guess Len will have to keep an eye out for it!

Chatting about stuff is fine. The kind of messages we dislike are the hard sell spam type.

Mike, the wife says that the teardrop will be the death of me, so there's no better way to go...
now, if I could get a cemetery to let me build a garage on a plot, they could just back it in there and slam the door..

Well.....when first telling people about my tear, I said if it didn't work out to sleep in then they can just bury me in it when I die. The apple didn't fall far from the tree. ... My dad bought a custom coffin before he needed it and it was kept as a "coffin table" and then he loaded it up with memorabilia and put it in a crypt as a "time capsule" to be opened in 2035 - no he isn't in there - he was cremated and is in the Sam Houston Cem. in San Antonio.

Now that's an interesting story, got a chuckle out of it. I'm thinking about building my own. Nothing like planning ahead!!

I know I've posted it here before, but it bears repeating - here is a British equivalent:

This is the holder of the world's fastest (working) hearse and apparently they're quite happy to give the deceased a quick last run.....
