An open hatch and the wind

Is there a problem with your hatch being open when it is windy out? I would think that it might act a bit like a sail?

Some people have had their hatch torn off by wind. If you plan on camping in a windy area, it's best to come up with some sort of method to secure it. Mine uses small clips that go in a notch in the support posts. Other people have used bungee cords or straps.
