Have a good day, and keep up the good work. Some people just don't understand what it takes to restore/reconstruct a trailer and suddenly it ends up looking like a teardrop trailer.

It's really taking shape! The windows are very nice too! So much work goes into building one of these but the end product is so worth it. It's fun to see the different styles and ideas that show up in the finished product too!

Gage,, thats not the left side,,its a trap door to the 2 car garage and shop in the basement,,,thanks,,,and on reconstructing a trailer, it was more involved in destruction and reconstruction of the old trailer than I thought,,its not gonna be a lightweight but the frame should be bullet proof,,,ya"ll keep em straight

Looking good chip... I like the insulation you have in the trap door to the two car garage. I haven't quite figured out why you have the 1x4's in the wall, but I figure you'll tell me... Your making good progress though!

Hey Mike,,the 1x4s are where shelf , bulkhead and other connections are going to be made,,the walls are sort of glue laminated panels,,,tempered hardboard on outside,,1x4 framing and blocking, and then a sheet of 1/8" plywood on the interior,,since the unit is 9'-2" frame length and 9'-6" bady length I had to do some splicing,,,to have a little more strength i used a 3/4" x 2' piece of plywood on the front and rear and framed in the middle,,then screwed and glued the outer skin on,,inner skin of 1/8 ply goes on next,,this is probably overkill but I didnt want pieces flying off going down the raod,,
as far as the basement hatch, ,think Ill just tip it up and use it as the other side,,,, ya'll keep em straight
