Dressing room off teardrop

Has anyone tried building the attachment to add a "dressing room" to one side of the tear? I believe it can be found in some of the older plans from years ago. You just sort of slide the curtain back and forth?

I saw one once that someone made out of pvc pipe. It was about 3 foot square and they stood it up next to one of the doors. It had a shower curtain (non see-through of course) on it. They kept their porta-potty there and also used it as a dressing room. It was just as tall as a shower curtain and came apart for transport.

I know which one you're talking about. It was a curved pipe that was attached to their roof rack where the curtain could be pulled around. That one was pretty cool.

We've got a "privacy" curtain/room for a pontoon boat. It has a zipper door, open at both ends... hooks on both the top and bottom. The top is made to hook into the canopy of a pontoon boat and the bottom would hook to the floor of the boat. The pvc sounds like a good idea. Lightweight, etc. Wonder how they hook it to the tear..

I think this the one that Nick is probably talking about.

The other one Bev is attached to the roof of the tear via a awning rail located along the upper edge of the roof. The room addition just slides in and then two polls hold up the extended portion. It's real simple to put up and gives another 5 square feet of space. That pic I posted is a friends but mine is about the same. Mine is held to the tear via snaps. All three sides roll up durning the day if you wish.

Bev don't know where you live but Bud Klinefelter has a nice one which I don't have a picture of just yet but he set it up for the first time at sctt gathering this year and will be at the cottonwood gathering in september if you would like to see it. I just have a privacy shelter from cabelas works great. Ed in Phoenix

Now that's pretty cool Gage. We use our canopy next to the tear and put down the 3 sides when we want privacy. Your system looks easier.

The local L-Mart has a potty/shower/changing tent that is about 3x3 with to etc,,sets up like a freestanding tent,,it was only 39 bucks or so,,,looked pretty good,,even had a rain fly over the screen in the top,,,

Sportsman Guild (http://www.sportsmansguide.com ) has a number of styles under Tents. I picked up a very nice one that I can fit my 6'4"frame into very nicely but that one does not seem to be offered right now. They have a the Zodi heater and other useful items too.
