I don't know if anyone posted this photo here, but a picture alone may spark ideas of building a futuristic teardrop.

Forgetting the design.... the construction is amazing!
Is that a digital model? Or is it made from materials?


I don't think they could handle it, but looks like a cool use for a SMART CAR!

Pondering the ideas... How do you go from building something like a teardrop that has been done the same for many decades, to new concept designs.

Many of the builders here, have used updated materials to build stronger, better, and perhaps with more technical features. ie solar.

I've seen talent on this forum with pencil drawings (I have to find the pictures later). Gaston's gel coated teadrop (RIP), the other purple TD that had a crank up pop top, lots of AngiB's, and MikenChell's designs that have changed the way we think about building. Oh yes, let's not forget Mr. Hodder's craftsmanship, among others here as well.

A recent thread from the Aussie's site making a trailer look like a rocket ship to cut down air drag has merit in this category.

What will the designs here be in 10, 25, 50 years from now. What will our futuristic teardrop look like...
