We have this one

It's available for $99 plus freight from Northern Tool.

Here it is in action

Sorry about the picture--it was taken with a phone during an earth quake while I was sneezing.

It's plastic (PVC) and very light. It's durable as it's taken a few rocks over time. It's tall enough to fit all of the dirty bits that go in a tongue box. If you want something inexpensive and durable, this gets my vote.

Yep here it is again...about $100 at Tractor Supply. I put a 12v light in it along with my battery.

Tongue Box

Postby tschmunk » Tue Feb 15, 2011 8:59 pm

I just added this harbor freight tongue box to my 5x10 Little Guy Silver Shadow. It's exactly the same angle as the tongue rails and fits perfectly. Don't have a picture yet with it mounted.

definitely some good ideas I think for my idea it might be best to make one or have one made out of diamond plateand possibly go as wide as the trailer but I do like that light idea

I was going to use one like this until I saw the weight was 53 pounds! Didn't want to add that much extra weight to the tongue of the myPOD.

Mightydog, I've found the little light in the tongue box so handy for finding stuff when it's dark that I'm going to add one to the tongue box on my T@B as well.

Then I'm going to add an on off switch inside the T@B for the outside patio light so I can turn it on and off from inside the T@B at night.
