Roof Vents

Postby nrody » Wed Mar 23, 2011 3:53 pm

Has anyone found a smaller roof vent than the standard 14" x 14"? I bought one to install on my tear but I really think it is ugly and will take away from the original 1940's home spun design. I was even considering replacing the plastic lid on the vent with a fabricated aluminum one so it does not stand out so much!

Actually, I could not make the So-Cal Teardrops 6" fan work in my circumstance. They also have some interesting vent covers as does

vintage roof vents.... or a premade aluminum cover so you don't have to make one.... http://vintagecampers.com/parts.php?category=Body%20Parts&sub=Vents

I just ordered some misc parts from them....   They shipped next day, parts were shipped in bomb proof packaging and their prices are very reasonable.
