welcome to the site I'll hold off with any suggestion and let those who have built a TD answer.

there are a lot of very good people here all with one goal in mind but a lot of different ways to reach it.

1. Truck bed liner is expensive but that is totally up to you.

2. I got my windows from a local salvage yard but you can get them off Ebay....google is your friend.

3. Reinforcing seams is always a good idea. Depends on how much you are going to beat it up taking it off and on.

5. Any local upholstery shop can do your cushions but you might be able to get a better deal on line. Again Google..or make your own.

5. Cushions... When we were rebuilding the Apache, we mentioned to an RV dealer that we needed dinette cushions. They were a Jayco dealer, and he told us that he had a room full of odd and end cushions. If they got a unti in with transit damage to a cushion, the factory would send them a complete replacement set to make sure the dye lot matched up, and the undamaged cushions had piled up over time. We sorted through and found a complete set of cushions and paid $10 per cushion. They are where you find them.

We also made our mattresses using high density foam from an upholstery supply warehouse. The best way to cut the foam is with an electric carving knife (turkey slicer). For covers we found suitable fabric on the "dollar a yard" (roll end) table at WalMart.

You can do some things very economically if you use your imagination.
