Under trailer storage

Hi all, has anyone added storage under the trailer? The other related question is how much ground clearance do you need?

I'm building a trailer with storage under the bed, accessible from the hatch and behind the doors. See my build under "Horny Tow'd"

I've made it for off roading. Clearance is 21" from the bottom of the frame.

Here's what my brother did on our TD:




We'll use the space for tools, patio lights, marshmallow sticks, etc. Odd-sized or messy-looking stuff we won't want to keep in the cabin or try to stuff into the galley. Obviously not for items you'll keep taking out and replacing multiple times during camptime. We'll unload once upon arrival and reload before we leave.
