teardrop domain name

Postby robfisher » Fri Apr 08, 2011 6:28 pm

For about ten years I've owned the domain name retrotears.com because it just seemed like a good idea at the time. Don't bother clicking on it because I've never built the website. Now someone has offered to buy it. Does it have any value? If we make a deal how is the transfer made? Any of you ever bought or sold a domain name?

Yes it has a value, what ever they are willing to pay. Transfer is through your domain name registrar.

Webnames used to be worth a whole lot more than they are now...

Now if someone doesn't come down in price, they just move on to the next name on the list.

If the name of the company that wants to buy your name is called retrotears, you've got a winner... otherwise, they are just trying to get a name for cheap...

Mike...
The quality is remembered long after the price is forgotten, so build your teardrop with the best materials...
