A good bicycle solution

After some failed brainstorms, I found a good solution to carrying the bikes along. Just back from a trip to SC and back with it. No issues whatever.

Wow, that is a great idea. I have a folding bike that goes in the back of my TV. But for full size bikes that is a great solution. Do you need to be more careful when backing up, or making sharp turns or is there enough clearance?

I too have one simlar to the one Tim has don't remember where I got it but it was more than $40.

we use to have folding bikes and they saved us couple of times when car broke down on calaifornia trip back in the 60's.

I worried about that. Used bungee cords to pull the bikes up tight to the rack. Takes them from hanging vertically to angled away from the trailer.

In ordinary driving, no clearance issues. I think that if I turned a sharp as possible, they might hit the trailer.

My tung is long enough I welded a receiver on it.

I tried one of these with my popup, and yes, you do have to watch sharp turns. I had one of the bikes catch the propane tank while manuvering in a gas station.
