why am I up at 4 am?

Postby pete42 » Fri Jun 24, 2011 3:18 am

I was watching one of my favorite TV shows around 8 last night only to wake to the sound of an infomercial.
when I was able to focus I noticed the time was 2:30 am I had fallen asleep
missed my TV show, insulin shot and supper I have clothes in dryer that still need to be folded.
here it is 4 am I tried going to bed that didn't work, I'm glad I have this site to occupy some of my time until I get sleepy.
yesterday I learned one of the people I worked with lost his wife to cancer
having lost my-ex earlier this year I know a little about what he is going through.
Later on today I'll make what is becoming an all to frequent thing and once again head to a funeral home.
good night I'm going to read a little more then off to bed.

Hey Pete....you aint the only one up at 4am. (but I'm usually up at 4)

Sorry to hear of the loss of folks in your circle. Can't help you with that, but I can think of something to put you to sleep. I just watch a channel with some kind of infomercial or soap opera....usually don't make it 30 minutes before the sandman snatches me. :)

I hate it when that happens. I honestly believe the human body was designed to go to sleep around 4:30am, and get up around noon. When my fab shop is slow and all I got going on is my 2nd shift job, those are my hours.

When I'm awake at 0400 it's for one of two reasons. PAIN or Pee.

Cheers,

Gus

Went on vacation couple weeks ago to another time zone and was waking up at 4-4:30am their time, I usually wake up at 5-5:30 my time for no better reason than to go to work.
If I could shut my brain off, I could save myself alot of time, money and effort.

due to my mental make up. I often don't sleep a whole night though. I am on here at 2 or 3 in the moring about 2 or3 times a week.

its nice. often times no one is fighting at that time in the moring on the forum.

Slowcowboy. want me to holler hi at you tommrow morning, Pete?

that would be fine since I live in the eastern time zone 4 am for you would be 7 am for me

now if I were to holler at you when it's 4am here it would be 1am there unless you're in that crazy mountain time zone which noone has figured out. ;)

I was too but I found something else to occupy me until 5:30 but I wake up at 4 every day because this is the coolest time of the day to do anything . Now my neighbors don't like the noise but I do, nothing like a lil saw dust at 4am to make you feel good!

Gud morning to you too.
I have been on the computer for about an hour doing other things.
it is 60 here this morning and raining nice and cool and I mowed my lawn yesterday it's all nice and dark green.
My tomatoe plants are budding out so it won't be long until I'll be eating them.
you have a good day.

Pete,
How well I know about going to sleep at night.
Since my wife was snatched from me by the
Sheriff's Office and a CPS worker. (APS was
unavailable) I didn't even get to say goodbye!
I finally found out where she was and plan to
visit next week. I don't know if she even
remembers me or is confusing me with her
abusive first husband. She has dementia and
can no longer speak. I try to go to sleep at
night but cannot stop thinking of her. I've
even doubled my trazadone from seventy five
mgs to one hundred fifty mgs. :(
