Maiden voyage

Postby cyfan72 » Wed Jul 20, 2011 10:00 pm

After 13 months of blood, sweat, and tears (pun intended), the Bier Tent is finished. We took it out right away, deciding that the maiden voyage would be to a state park about an hour away. Just far enough away for a test run, we thought. We had a blast! The weather was perfect...80's during the day and 60's at night. Our camper performed wonderfully, no major hitches, and towed like a dream. We are looking forward to putting many miles on it. Thanks to everyone that inspired this build and for your silent support and answers when I was stuck.

Pictures of the build are in my album and build journal "Off and running".

Always the best time....... First time out and it handled just like you wanted. Now you have to go over all the stuff you will need to add, change or get rid of  Now the fun begins.

Enjoy................ :applause: :applause:

Well, I'm glad we went last weekend because it is back up to 100+ here :( Hoping it cools off somewhere so some of us can get back to camping.
