Don't know if I am envious or glad that old campers pretty much disintergrate in this area, so I don't see them sitting around. Well that and I don't have the nerve to ask when I do see them. Just down the road from me there was a small canned ham, sitting in the trees, always meant to stop and ask about it, either as a parts camper or a resto project, then one day I saw it on the local junkers trailer, headed for scrap. Then there is the Benroy/King Richard teardrop that I have been driving by for a couple years, always meant to stop and ask about it, if nothing else just to get a closer look, drove by a couple weeks ago and the house now looks as if the tenants have moved. When I was building #1, my landlord told me there was a teardrop in the trees on another of his properties, after walking the grove for about 1/2 hour, I finally found the remnants of some plywood, nothing else was left of it.

Today we bought it for $1800. It's in fairly good shape, needs some window repair, lights repaired, should have new tires and a few other minor issues need attention, but it could be used now as is. We are sure enjoying those blueberries!! Dumb luck episode 1 was when our daughter found the '46 Modernistic that we got for $500. Now I'm trying to track down the owner of an old Scotty Sportsman I saw sitting in the bushes. Hoping for another dumb luck episode!!Bob
