Getting closer to starting....

Postby Cdash » Tue Aug 02, 2011 8:21 pm

I made a stop at Tri State Surplus today to pick up some wheels for my 5th wheel RV. I couldn't help but to check out teardrop supplies while I was there. I came across and got these:

I don't like the white but a rattle can will fix that. They came with screens and clamp rings. But for $15 each,i didn't want to pass them up. Still a lot more to buy: A door, a big window for drivers side, lots of wood, steel, axle, etc, but hey, its a start and I am gering more excited!

I am building a jim dandy shape 5x10 with no Galley. The purpose of this tear for me is to have a comfy bed on wheels when I go on Jeep trips. I wanted something easy, throw my stuff in and go, easy to tow and can fit me and the two kids. Can be heated for the spring and fall trips and a good fan for summer trips. Kind of a stripped down basic tear but able to fit a Queen bed and rom for storage (cooler, tools, bags).

Stay tuned for a build journal.

How do you like the name EZ Tripper? I just have to be careful to pronounce it carefully.
