The Happy Camper and his barbecue table

Postby Phooey » Sun Aug 07, 2011 2:50 pm

Rob just got his newly finished barbecue table today. It was fabricated by his buddy, Mike, who did the other tables for our trailer. It fits into the receivers welded under the trailer ( a FANTASTIC idea we got from this forum) and adjusts to the terrain that we are camping in. I drew the design, Rob approved it and Mike made it all happen.

He can't wait to get out and camp with it. Just a week or two and he's on the road.

I just put up the ones that weren't showing up. The one you posted is the best one, that is for sure. Relaxation is always good. :applause:

Does it break down for travel?

Yes, the table breaks down into three pieces that lay down flat and take up very little room. The lower piece which fits into the receiver also fits another section which holds our two other table tops so they all are interchangeable in some fashion and can be moved around the trailer as needed. When stored inside the trailer for travel the table tops can stack within each other and the support pieces snug up next to them.
