Friends have cancelled their plans for Fort Pickens due to the huge amount of rain expected.

Pfffft! We are headed west out to Camp Eagle (headwaters of the Nueces River) near Rock Springs, TX. No rain there or anywhere in this part of Texas.
Tropical Depression 13 his headed north through the middle of Louisiana, leaving us high and dry. :(
Getting utterly desperate here, but at least the high temps will drop below 100 soon.

Y'all be careful if you are in the path of this storm. It doesn't have to be a hurricane to be dangerous.
