Does anyone know where to find these tail lights, or similar? Thanks,

You could wait till the TD owner goes off for the day and kindof borrow those, eh?

Actually, the lights look like some I have seen on some classic and hot rod pickups. You might look at LMC parts or some other aftermarket outfit to see if they have them.

yep, early ford.........I have them on my 35 ford sedan (and several in my "shelf stock"), and I know they go back to probably the 20's. Some ford trucks had them into the mid 50's. Suppliers.......most any hotrod parts shop should carry them (......like Speedway in Inidana), and many ofl the hot rod magazines have sources (chrome and paintable) There are also lenses that have "stop" in the glass (great affect). The base/stand is usually a separate item since they were used on so many different fenders. good luck .........ruff but ready 47 cub

They are from the Ford reproduction parts company called Vintique. They have a retail store in Orange, CA called C.W. Moss. They come powdercoated in black, or stainless steel. Same for the brackets. Most of the different years come in left (with license light lens) and right sides.

Wow, those look just like the ones I have on my woody. Unfortunately, they are hand-turned on my lathe and are made of wood. Good luck.

Once upon a time I met a guy who reproduced the black mounting hardware.

The Speedway lights are Vintique INC. I'm sure they all come from China.

One thing to look at, are the early Ford pick up tail light brackets that mount these various year taillights. Get the stainless over the painted. I just take the mounting end and lock it into my metal brake and bend a 90 degree bend and your done, ready to mount it on the side wall of a tear drop. You also need to run a ground wire inside the wire conduit and mount it to the back of the light because these were made for steel bodied cars/trucks.

Thanks for the tips John. Had not thought about needing to add a ground wire.
