Save things on here so I can find it later? I'm not good at any of this computer stuff.

I go up to the "Bookmarks" in the toolbar at the very top of the screen and save it in my favorite places. You can then make a folder there and put all the links in that folder.

I finally learned how to use the search feature.

If you are looking for flip up tables Don't use "flip up table" don't use "flip up" or "flip" Use the most important word in the search "table"

You will get hundreds of posts with the word table in them but hopefully one title to the thread will hit a familiar chord and you can re-find that topic.

On that note.....When making a new topic post think of the key word, that one word that comes closest to what you want to talk about, and try and incorporate it in the post title. " Guess what I did today" doesn't give a hint as to the content of the new thread and is a total waste in a search,
"My HATCH is built" ,would!


If I see a post "How do I ?..." it is vague an meaningless at a title.
"Saving important information ??" Would catch the eye of anyone browsing a search on "saving" or "information"

Another helpful note.....

My album had become a monster and I made an excel spread sheet index of the basic content of the pic and the number associated with it. I can post any pic in my album and simply edit the number and the correct one appears.

If its something I absolutely couldn't live without, I print to PDF and save it on my hard drive

...to save a specific post...look in the top left corner in any specific post you want to save...where it says..."posted" and a date...on the left of that is a "paper"symbol...you right click on the paper symbol chose "bookmark this link" (FireFox) or pick what ever is appropriate in IE, etc.

Since were asking. I did not know there was a search feature. Where is it and how is it accessed.

I figured it out. Google Chrome has a find feature and it is great.
