What an amazing Web site!
Found some treasures in the BLOG: http://tinyhouseblog.com/
Scroll on past Evan & Gabby's tiny house and on to the elegant folding shower for small spaces; very slick!
Next up is "Tiny House in a Landscape" and it was so fun to see a tiny Texas house, well over 100 years old, that I've ridden by many times while riding my bike on a country lane in the Dripping Springs (Drippin' to the locals) area west of Austin.
Keep scrolling past the blog on Tiny House parking and travel half way 'round the world, to the real treasure:
A 50-year-old Caravan Wa-Wa 180 Sport, which is somehow a cross between a tear drop and the Winter Warrior. It is made completely of wood. Although made commercially by a now defunct compay, it looks like it could be replicated if there were plans!

I've got to be careful not to while away too many hours visiting all the links on this site!

if you go the whole section on this forum dedicated to tiny houses. you will be surprised at what you find. lots and lots of treads already on this topic!!!!!!!!!!!! slowcowboy.

Thanks for the reminder, Slo. I love tiny buildings (land based or on wheels) so much I look wherever the information comes up + the intersection of house/trailer is a great way to get ideas for both.

Check out more pictures of the 180 Wa-Wa here. It is an awesome trailer (caravan) that was made in Belgium up until the 1960s.

I always thought that if you were able to incorporate a few slide outs on a tiny house then it would make it that much more cozy

The Fencl is one of their most attractive designs. There's even a guy in Flint, just north of me, who built one!

There is a video of building a Fencl: http://www.youtube.com/v/mADv0HeaSBc

It's pretty heavyweight construction for a smaller trailer - definitely house-building. Apart from gluing the sheathing to the studs, as well as screwing everything, they don't seem to make many concessions to it being a trailer, so I'm not convinced the longevity would be as good as one would want.
