A day late and a dollar short on a matress

Postby Aaron Coffee » Fri Dec 02, 2011 12:24 pm

At Thanksgiving I told my brother that I want a semi truck sleeper mattress for #2, (his wife works at a truck stop) he said that the truck stop got rid of the sleeper matresses that they sell, just threw them away. Doh! Always meant to ask their prices, but always thought I would wait until I had the extra cash. :(
If I could shut my brain off, I could save myself alot of time, money and effort.

That's where I get mine too...

Several years ago the simmons pillow top in Chubby was tossed on a burn pile and the following morning it was in my truck. Not a spot, not a blem, must have been the dust mite commercials that motvated them to toss it out.

Was heading home early last week and the same thing ( different burn pile , differnet hamlet) I stopped and knocked and was happily given a serta mattress for the caboose build. Took it home and stuffed it in the barn trailer for winter storage.

One mans trash really is another mans treasure
Growing older but not up !
