What's your ultimate tow vehicle?

Postby NonProfit » Thu Dec 08, 2011 2:10 pm

So, forget for a moment practicality, reliability or cost...if they sky's the limit, what would you like to tow with?

For me, it depends on what kind of trailer I'd be pulling.

A woodie would look great behind a 1947 Pontiac Streamline Wagon.

But on the other hand an aluminum Cobra kit from Kirkham Motorsports would nicely compliment a bread loaf.

As for me, I hope to get a 2005+ Dodge Caravan with Stow'n Go seating. The seats fold flat into the floor so the kids can sleep in the van while my wife and I are in the teardrop.

For us it is going to be a 1961 Studebaker Hawk with a custom 1960 finned Vedette trailer.

A late 40's to early 50's panel van. But I would want a Rest O Rod. New drive train, mild custom. Or an early Willys wagon.

Like 8Ball, my choice might be a little different than most. For sure it would be a Buffalo White, this one looks pretty close to right.

We're thinking outta the box ... right???

V22 Osprey

The ultimate boondocking vehicle. Goes ANYWHERE ... in a hurry too ... can even take a few friends along. If the weather's bad ... camp right in the cargo bay ... no tarps needed.

Something that tows 20,000lbs, and gets 50MPG while doing it, seats 6, needs zero maintenance, and can fit into a regular single car garage.
