Coleman hot water on demand reviews?

Postby nevadatear » Mon Jan 16, 2012 12:21 am

Have been looking on and off at the Coleman Hot water on demand. Have seen several folks with one at gatherings. http://www.coleman.com/coleman/colemancom/detail.asp?product_id=2000007107&categoryid=2200&brand=#.TxOzwYEuGQ8
Those of you that have them, what is your opinion? Also, I have read several reviews that the spay attachment is not worth it. As taking a shower would be a primary use, how can you attach a hose if you don't have the adapter? Is the adapter readily available from another source?

Randy, we have one and swear by it. The shower is a little Eco friendly(not a lot of water) but it works outback where we go.
Cheers
Paul
PS remember I am in Australia ;)
Time is the only real capital we have. Money you can replace but time you cannot.

Debbie and Randy,
We really like ours but we are on our second one. They can be a little tempramental in really cold weather (30's) and lose their charge. When we replaced our first one we bought it a Camping World (yuck) but got the extended warranty "just in case". We bought the shower attachment for Abby when she rolled in dead fish and it worked fine for her and did a good job when I wanted to wash my hair. Haven't tried it for a full shower. Just regular summer camping it has been great. We always give it a full charge the night before we leave and it's good to go for a three day weekend.

:)

I would indeed like some pixs as we have one of those blue bottles.
