What to use to clean interior?

Postby Aaron Coffee » Tue May 08, 2012 5:03 pm

Getting ready for our trip, between not using the TD enough and a leak in one door, it has a musty smell, I am going to wash all of the cloth surfaces, and probably febreeze all of the foam and let it air out good, but what about the interior wood surfaces, the walls are polyuerathaned. Want something that will leave a clean (not overwhelming)smell, yet clean at the same time.
Thanks
If I could shut my brain off, I could save myself alot of time, money and effort.

WE use Murphy's oil soap to clean finished wood surfaces. It has not too bad a smell to it.

OdorBan from Sam's Club. I used it on the SideKick when I got it last summer. It went from a very weird smell to a clean refreshing smell. All I did was follow directions and wash the inside from ceiling to floor. I also sprayed it on all of the upholstery, and that helped also.

Ozium was recomended to me many years ago by an aircraft mechanic. "If it will get the smell of vomit out of an aircraft, it otta refresh your truck!" Been using it in various vehicles for 25 + years. Works GREAT!!
Auto supply stores carry it and also some wallyworld stores.

Vinegar works great for cleaning , and detox (kills germs that cause odors ) ... Is not harmful to humans and the “salad “ smell quickly goes away .. Thrifty too ... and GREEN !!! :D

Borax mixed with warm water and just wipe down all hard surfaces,
Borax is used in mold remediation.

I use it to kill the musty's when repairing leaked trailers or getting new used trade ins ready for resale.
Leaves NO odour and Borax kills mold and mildew
And its dirt cheap in the laundry isle at the grocery store
If it ain't broke, fix it till it is
