help identify 1974 14' travel trailer

Postby daleroller » Fri Jul 06, 2012 9:38 pm

Hello. I was expecting someone to build me a benroy travel trailer in exchange for me doing some legal work for them, but it looks like they bailed out. Yesterday I got a new client that is giving me a 1974 14 foot travel trailer in exchange for a bankruptcy. He doesn't know what the make or model is and we could not figure out by looking at the metal tags. Can anyone out there help me identify it and tell me how much it weighs?

Safari was a camper company out of Portland in the 50s through 70s.

Can't speak to that particular model but, if I had to guess I'd say you're probably looking at about 1800 pounds for a 14' build around that time.

Not sure if that helps you or not.

Like the profile of it, though.

That makes sense, sense we are from portland. I saw on the title that it is only a 13 foot trailer.

You can find some information here Tin Can Tourists Wiki.
You can add the picture of your trailer and may get a response.
