Friday the 13 was my birthday so i took the day off from work, the wife says have a great day buy your self something to remember your 62nd birthday so here it is

1948 oldsmobile 4dr sedan model 68. recent frame off restoraation all original running gear 6 cyclinder pictues do not do it justice, traded my 49 chevy

Thanks Doug, the wife tells me that celebrating my birtday for weeks on end have to stop, so i decided to go a different route this year. i bought a car that i like and the wife likes. the cars used to be fast and loud now she tells me she likes slow and old . we will see you and the gang at IRG mike and Zellie

Beautiful Olds Mike! Reminds me of the 48 Desoto Suburban I had and restored! Mine looked like the one Mr. Cunningham drove in the opening scene of Happy Days pulling into the drive. I was 27 when I bought that car and they may be slower and big but they always have class! Enjoy your new ride!

the car is a period correct frame off restoration, down to the mohair upholstery, 6 cylinder motor and Hydromatic transmission, even the original radio works great. the only options i will install for now is a period correct Fulton sunvisor and a hidden trailer hitch, and turn siginals
