Finally Camping Again

Postby Vedette » Sun Sep 16, 2012 8:55 pm

Yes we are sitting here in the North Cascades on a beautiful little lake, enjoying a glass of red and watching the sun go down.
As it is a Sunday night, and in mid September......there are no kids in the campground and lots of spaces. Soooo very quiet! And relaxing!
About the only thing that could make this night better?? Would be our "Finished " teardrop next to us instead of our "Tent"
But, it is still sitting in the paint booth at home awaiting paint.
That will happen this week.
Yes we still hope to get out in it this year.
The temperatures are still in the 80's this time of year, but it does cool off at night as soon as that sun sets. (Which was about 10 minutes or so ago now.)
Camping is Camping and we are scopeing out prospective campsites on Hwy. 20 for a possible "Crawl" across 20 in 2013???
We are currently in Winthrop.

If it is sitting in the paint booth something is telling me it does not look like this anymore.

I am sure looking foward to seeing the finished project.

Yes Dan
That is an old picture.
And no I have not have time ti add the 100 or so pictures taken since that one.
Miss Piggy is getting so close.
Wish I would have opened my eyes this morning looking out of her window rather than through the screen of my tent.
Winthrop was beautiful, but we are home now and ready to get back to work.
