Air conditioning

Postby jim mcdermott » Fri Oct 19, 2012 3:38 am

Air conditioning, those of us who never had it when we were kids loved to go to a friends house who had central air in the dead of summer, and soak it all in. My wife and I are going back and forth with options and AC is definitely on our list. I just wonder if it a convenience or a necessity. We had our first teardrop experience just last week. The weather down in VA was very chilly and we used a tiny heater and the fantastic fan. We were very comfortable. We don't know the other extreme or Summer. Who has AC that wishes they didn't, what climate are you camping in and who doesn't that wish they had it? Can the fantastic fan do the job alone?

Thanks in advance,
Jim

I think it very much depends on where you plan on camping, and an AC does not have to be either permanently attached or expensive. If you are in the East/Midwest in the summer you may well wish you had it, out West not so much.

There are a number of folks who have done something similar and I can say ours work well.
