A foregone conclusion considering the Yeti is almost 3X the price of the Coleman.

No real test here.

Thanks Bruce, it is nice to have some idea that you do actually get what you pay for.
Nancy came to really appreciate our Waeco refrigerator, constant temp and not having to find ice. you might want to include the link to your test?

I want a Yeti so bad. A Yeti Tundra 65, white with all the accessories. Locks, straps, cushion the works. 8)

For another C note over a Yeti you can get a Waeco and never buy ice again. I bet you can make up the difference in ice costs the first year of camping.

Waeco Clicky

Bruce - I like that fridge but I am on a Yeti jones right now. The Yeti has spoken to me and I must have one. It will look so cool on my front tear rack. I just might have to go to the 75. AND I will have lots of ice for a scotch on the rocks.

Ok Ok I went to the local hardware store and guess what they had there? Yeti ice chests. So I asked the guy " Do you happen to have a Tundra 75 qt. White? ". They did and I fell in love and had to have it.

It is truly awesome. 8)

With the high price of ice in resort areas (I paid almost $3 for a small bag at a few areas recently) a quality ice chest will eventually pay its way -- may just take a while so not for the impatient. I actually want both the 12 volt frig/freezer and a small Yeti. Now if I just had a champagne income.

ps. I "need" a small Honda genny converted to propane too  !

Kirk, you are sooo funny! Congratulations on your Yeti purchase. I suspect you will have chains and locks on that thing so that it doesn't grow legs and walk off! It's probably right up there with copper, in the desirability market.

You need some quality tie downs to go with your quality cooler:

I don’t think it is a fair Ice chest shootout. All the other are just plane ones you can set at Wallys World.
The only other cooler out there that compares to the Yeti is the Brute Outdoors.
