Until this weekend it has been warmer than normal.
Yesterday at noon the temp was near freezing and it started to snow.

never snows here (some rare hale) we might get some rain nest week. But despite good weather our roads are being ripped up they are putting in a new $174,000,000 Sewer which will not be finished until 2014.

Other wise we site by the shore of the Pacific enjoying the views.

Bet it was lovely at the beach. Was it warm enough to swim?
We'll be house sitting near Cuero over Christmas vacation and hope to get to Port O'Connor for an afternoon just to be next to the water and hang out on the "beach."
The cold front is due here in Austin in an hour and fifteen minutes. Mr. June Bug and I just did a bike ride at the local park and it was HOT. Tomorrow afternoon at this time it will be close to freezing.
I try to love our crazy Texas weather & I must be a real Texan, 'cause hot or cold, I just want it to rain!

We're having a break in the rain and getting a chance to dry out from the downpours of last week.
Today was sunny and 65 degrees with winds at 9 mph. Tomorrow, it's supposed to come close to 70!

JuneBug, it was the best! But the water was a tad too cool for me. There was a couple of brave souls in the water but I was there for the beachcombing. Port O Conner should be great even if it is cold.

We are having the hottest and driest December on record. The temperature here on the north coast of Qld is always much cooler than down south. The south easters blow in off the Coral Sea and it's so wonderful to live here compared to Brisbane, Melbourne or Sydney. The wind is blowing a steady 10 knots and all the savage animals have gone with the wind. There are two or three lost in the workshop but they are no problem just yet. The westerly winds from a few days ago have dried up all the remaining grass and the ground is becoming very dusty. The temperature at the moment is 82 F inside but much hotter in the sun. All the birds are flocking to Kody's pool for a drink in the morning and evening. The most common birds coming in are Rainbow Lorrikeets, Galahs, Pale Headed Rosellas, Honeyeaters and native Minors. With all the savage animals gone temporally I am hoping to have the springs and A frame welded today and then paint the frame tomorrow. Then it's photo time!

We've been living in a cloud all day - pea-soup fog everywhere! Temp not too bad (40ish) but cold rain off and on. But I'll put up with that, as long as the cold temps and snow stay up north!!
