Happy New Year, I read the whole forum!

Postby Mary C » Mon Dec 31, 2012 9:09 pm

I have just finished reading the forum: :? It was a lot of stuff and I guess I can admit that a lot of old stuff was read over quickly but I have read the largest threads including the general discussion and the foamie thrifty thread. :? I admit i kinda skimmed was on all the gatherings I read just back to 2009. The build threads I checked out very quickly and the older stuff was informative. I am just glad I have finished. so ...... Happy New Year everyone !!!!!!!!! :wine:

Congrats, MaryC....and WELCOME!!!

I've read a large part of the tnttt, but certainly not all of it--so more power to ya  I still have questions and I still question some of the "stuff", but hey, it's a friendly bunch and we all of a lot of opinions of how it should be.

Happy camping, and Happy New Year :D

Thanks , I could say a lot but Sharon it has been late nights both logged in and not, You bring sanity where the men have gone off you know doing the man thing here on the forum. Thanks to you and Louella for bringing about sense of it!!!

Slow I have so much enjoyed your post and have cried and got so upset when you threatened to just lurk, your post would show up just when I thought the crazies had imploded on the forum. You would and have put the sane in the threads with unabashed eloquence I am so happy for you and I hope when I get to Yellowstone in 2015 you would allow me to come meet you and your yours.

I love the different views of even the simplest of things, I know I will probably have questions too when I begin my build but nerves will probably cause "can't find the answer". not all questions have been answered, I am sure. Verna you have kept me centered in a lot of the muck I have read too.

I have learned a lot about the people on here and have cried some, laughed and wanted so many times to share condolences wait with hope for a loved one, I got so anxious reading about when a hinge wasn't working. I could feel the pain and frustration and I understood the pain when Cathrine and the twins lost her standie, Gosh, so much, I feel as though it is easy to know so many of the people on the forum. When prayers are asked for I pray and I pray for others as they hint of problems entwined in the responses and advise given. Becca, Thank you!!!

When I get to travel I hope to meet so many of the kind sweet ladies and gentlemen I have had the honor of getting to know here.
Mary

Happt new year. While I haven't read the entire forum, I do entertain myself by picking a sub-forum and going back 10-15 pages to see what was happening "way back then". Welcome to the madness.

Hope you can take an exta week and come further west (unless you live inthe west????) to visit us here in the Okanagan Valley. It is an easy 2 day drive from Yellowstone with some beautiful country and nice campgrounds in between. The Mud Hole just west of Sandpoint Idaho!

Sandi I live 3 miles from the state line between Georgia and Alabama. My trip will be sorta like this leave go to Gulfport Miss to visit brother, New Orleans perhaps visit GPW, then on to Texas to visit my brothers and Friends Near Fort Worth then on to New Mexico, Colorado ect (not sure exactly) then to southern Calif to visit adopted brother and sister and Neice in Chulia Vista then North to cross that there big bridge in Fransisco , to visit the bears in Yosemite, then Mt St Helen's, a couple of redwoods and to visit Seattle Washington then around to Yellowstone and see Slow so ..........I guess I can come your way too, Thanks for the invite. I am retired and will have no reason to come home in a hurry and will take all the driveway camping I can get. I will officially get details of said trip on here in a couple of years I hope by then I will be able to visit more of the forums friends and neighbors!!!!! I am just excited to get busy and build!!!!! I brought up some 1x4s now if it will stop raining I can cut them down to 1x2s. at least it is a start!!!!! :wine:

After reading the whole thing I still have some questions and with my head spinning :? from all the information I did take in I am not sure if I ever saw the answers. :NC I will ask when I get to the place I Need too. Thanks.

Roly , thanks.

I do have some comments about the forum what ever hapened about the Lady tear droppers camper bumper sticker? the thread just ended and just left me wondering did anyone ever do anything????
Is there a way that so many threads are left with an unanswered question , I realize it is sometimes a "read the forum Buddy" problem but I also noticed they neither made a build thread nor appeared anywhere else. You may have made personal messages or ?????? You did not leave me in a lurch, You answered my real newbie questions with a discussion and helped me to make up my mind. thats when I decided that I would read and read and finish by The New Year. Roly got news I am here and I aint goin nowhere. I think yall stuck with me. ;)

Thanks for the support yall have given me!!!!
