Starting to scout

Getting the itch, and it was a beautiful sunny day so I scouted out my first local camp.
Historic Benzanson Old Town Site
The town was moved in the early 1900,s when the railway bypassed them
$10 a night camping firewood included



28 rustic sites way off the beaten track



Community shelter with big ole' fireplace in it



A view out over the Smokey River



and these guys didn't want me to leave



Hopefully by spring I will have found all the free or cheap campgrounds around
