I just got back from a late spring retreat at Isle DuBois branch of Lake Ray Roberts. It was absolutely gorgeous weather! I love the Quail Run section because it has sites that have tiered landings. This allows campers an eagle-eye view of the lake from up high. I've tried to show the elevation from the lake through the different views in the pics below. I took the slide-out extension out of T3 and tacked on a tarp and attached some makeshift windows for this excursion. The experience was simply divine. At night, the sound of the waves lulled me to sleep.
