Where is everybody?

Postby Vedette » Fri Jul 12, 2013 10:09 am

Well we have travelled over 3000 Kms this past week. And with the exception of running into a small teardrop show in Washington, we have only seen one teardrop on the road.
We have been to the popular Tourist Spots and camp areas and NOTHING!
Where is everybody? It is Camping Season!
We are dying to meet up with other teardroppers on this trip. :wine:
Would be nice to share a bottle of wine and some camping stories.
We are headed to Colorado next...then on to Arizona and California.

I believe it is like the astronomical theory that, if two galaxies collide, no stars will actually hit each other. There are billions of stars in each one, but they are so far apart, collision is unlikely.
There's a bunch of tears out there, but they are too far apart to come into contact.
That is my, highly scientific and logical, premiss.

I would suggest coming to GA but by the time you got here I would be at CRA. That is where a few teardrops (over 100) will be July 24th I guess they are all waiting till then to travel. You could go too, I promise you would have fun. Might be a long drive but you have already come to Brice so why not Indiana? Have fun on your camping trip I would love to see picts and information about your travels.

I saw a teardrop heading north out of Duluth Mn on the 7th (a rare sighting). Wonder if they saw my teardrop heading south. Had it up in Grand Marias over the fourth.

Seeing a teardrop "in the wild" is rare, but a nice thing when you do spot one.

we took our TD to the Albany, NY area for the week of the 4th. Same thing, no TD's, but we did see a T@B going the other way on the turnpike.
there is a MP3 (standie size teardrop shape) across the street from me, and last summer I notice a TD in a driveway on the way to the local HD.
Seeing one in the wild is still rare, the number of beeps, thumbs ups, the number of fly by-jam on the brakes-slow cruise past the TD-on the highway, I lost count of.

Hi Brian, no sweat, I'm still here, enjoying the coastal breezes, the occasional hot desert temps and fresh mountain air. So, coninue to enjoy your trip, stop by at all of the teardrop friends that respond to your post, and remember, on you way home, you gotta swing on by and check out our beautiful, southern Calif. area for you to explore on your way home. Remember, lots of room in the driveway for your Miss Piggy, plus flavorable dutch oven pot roast, to enjoy during your stay. Lets see, Disney Land, Knotts Berry Farm, The Wild Animal Park, the San Diego harbor, ancient and WW II warships, and climbing the security fence into Mexico for souvenirs .

Don't let me down, how else can I obligate you to allowing a prolonged Teardrop stay at your farm in good ol', beautiful Canada? Continue to enjoy your USA trip, and keep checking on the friendly other teardroppers on your way. (Come on TDers, let Brian know where you are and extend that good-old teardrop welcome0. What a great way to travel.....right? PS, no charge for staying on TDer's property.........as usual. A fine imported bottle of wine,(from Canada) is not required, but might not be a bad idea.
8) :R ;) Roly, the li'l ol' So calif woody Teardrop guy..........and then some.

Thanks Roly
Hope to see you on the 17th.
Woke up this morning in Dorango CO. and found new Teardroppers camped one site over from us in a Little Guy Silver Shadow.
They are on their way home to Nebraska.
We are headed to Mesa Verde today.
We had hoped to Dutch oven cook for you  ....Sandi's already famous "roast chicken"??????

We don't even drink Okanagan "Red" at home, but did enjoy a good bottle from Chilli.
