pamplingrove email account resurrected from the ashes

Postby Dean in Eureka, CA » Wed Jul 24, 2013 12:02 am

Dear Friends,
My email account at yahoo.com has been hacked. Please delete any email you receive from me, it's not me.
It appears that I will be unable to get the problem fixed, as my contact info is obsolete and I have either forgotten the answers to the security questions, or they have been compromised as well.
Thanks

I really didn't want to give up the address, but I was unable to contact Yahoo by phone to update my info after the account was hacked this morning... I think it happened through my smart phone.

That is why it is wise to change your pass word in those free emails every so often. Like when I hear this I have a free gmail account and I change the pass word.
This is becoming to often with folks all over the world thinking we are rich ha ha It is probably better to have a paid email to a place that fewer folks use.
Many of the big free Guns play games and let junk in. :NC The more the members the harder it is for the company to catch the ugly stuff. :frightened:

And if you are riding here for free it is best to send some dues $10 or more so they can afford the software to keep the junk out of here. And they get a lot too. :?

 Ron

Good News... I was actually able to finally get in touch with Yahoo and resurrect my account from the ashes. I'm sorry my friends received a spam email from "me" last Tuesday, but happy that my account is back in business, just gotta remember a slough of new passwords now.

Years back you had to be careful if your cell was on when you went through big cites there were folks that could get your number and use your phone number. I have not heard of any thing like that in a long time. Is your phone also a wifi for your computer? They could have gotten in that way too. They say airports are the worst place to be on a computer because of hackers. So Cell phones could be hacked too I guess.

Change of subject speaking of not getting thins to work, Dean did you get the pictures to work .... send me a message
