Anyone dealt with Overland Trailer?

Postby les45 » Tue Aug 13, 2013 9:24 am

I did an online purchase two months ago from Overland Trailer through an online broker called Storenvy. I purchased a DVD entitled "Historic Camping and Teardrop Trailers". I got an email acknowledgment and order number but haven't seen a product yet. I've sent followup emails to both companies through their websites without a response. Has anyone dealt with these companies or bought their DVD?

Is there an Internet equivalent to the Better Business Bureau? There should be.

That's the one but I've got an update to my story. I received an email from Mark Janke, the owner of Overland Trailers, who was quite apologetic about the whole issue. Turns out that the internet broker (a company called Storenvy, kind of like a small Amazon without their own warehouse) had taken my order and charged it to Paypal, but the order did not make it to Overland Trailers because of some sort of cyber glitch. Mark offered to send the DVD and refund my money. I told him that wasn't necessary as long as I got the DVD but he did it anyway. Storenvy was also quite apologetic about the problem on their end. I chalked it up to an honest mistake and the bottom line was outstanding customer service from both companies. Now I'm sitting here anxiously waiting on my copy of the video.
