I bought my PWC trailer, and needed to title and register it immediately. I went to the DMV and got a plate for a flatbed trailer, under 1,000 lb. That's $12 + taxes & fees.
Now it is a travel trailer - I think. The registration fee for that is $27. Do I need to go beck to the DMV, try to explain what I've done, and re-register my "flatbed trailer" as a "travel trailer"?
Here's the legal definition of "travel trailer":
NRS 482.127 “Travel trailer” defined. “Travel trailer” means a portable structure mounted on wheels, constructed on a vehicular-type chassis primarily designed as temporary living quarters for recreational, camping or travel use and designed to be drawn by another vehicle and designated by the manufacturer as a travel trailer. A vehicle is not a travel trailer if, when equipped for highway use, it is more than 8 feet wide.
Well, it's a "portable structure mounted on wheels". It's "constructed on a vehicular-type chassis primarily designed as temporary living quarters for recreational, camping or travel use and designed to be drawn by another vehicle", but it is NOT "designated by the manufacturer as a travel trailer."
Or just leave it be, and hope for the best?
