When I saw your trailer I thought it was a 1958 scottsman. long live Studebaker they were a great car !So I still look foward to seeing a hawk convertible, please post some pictures, thanks
Thanks for your interest, almost forgot which Forum I was on. As I am an SDC member and spend quite a bit of time on the SDC Forum.
I too am a Studebaker enthusiast and we currently own 4 Studebakers.....three of which are C/K's (Lowey Coupes) actually designed by Bob Bourke. We have a first year 1953 HDTP, first year Hawk 1956 Coupe, and the last year of the body style 1961 Hawk.
It is funny that you mention the convertible, as there were no C/K convertibles produced 1953 to 1961 ort the GT Hawks 1962-64, as I am going to cut my 53 Hdtp and build a "Roadster" out of it. Currently I have a thread over on the SDC Forum, under General Discussion called "53 Roadster Project"
Go have a look!
Just have to Finish Sandi's 61 Hawk this winter as we hope to use it as the TV for Miss Piggy.
Good Roads
