In this thread http://www.tnttt.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=57923, I wrote about finding a used RV slider window, and trying to find all the seals, etc. to restore/rebuild it. I ultimately gave up on that window, for several reasons. Oh well, it was only $10.
Since then, I've been on the hunt for a better used window for my TTT. I'd been looking in all the wrong vehicles, because today I finally found this retro beauty in a 1970's truck cap/camper shell!

I love the retro look! I like the jalousie (sp?) style a lot better than the slider window. Combined with the smoke-tint plastic bubble "windows", it will let in some light, and plenty of fresh air, while maintaining privacy.
Anyhow, all the weatherstripping is in pretty good shape, except for one piece. Pardon my crappy MSPaint drawing, but this is a pretty close idea of what I need to find (you can kind of see it in the top picture, it's gray, between the frame and the upper window panel:

On my old thread, someone pointed me in the direction of Vintage Trailer Supply. They have something awfully close, seen in this link: http://www.vintagetrailersupply.com/Jalousie_Header_Seal_p/vts-386.htm
The long leg of the seal is 7/8", where I only need 1/2". I'll buy this stuff and trim it down if I need to, but does anyone have an idea where to find something closer to original?
Thanks as always,
