Salt Lake City axles

Postby FARMINGDALEHC » Wed Feb 12, 2014 7:35 pm

in the middle of a road trip. had a wheel vanish and spark up a wild fire on the way out. was able to get a new hub from harbor freight luckily but i want something super dependable and am loosing sleep over the current harbor freight setup. Anyone know a good place to find new axles in the salt lake city area and what to get??? or if anyother wheel hub combo would work on the 1100 or so pound harbor freight trailer i built on??? thanks! :D

I bought a custom made (frame mounts & width) 1100 lbs from Dexter for Miss Piggy!
It was cheap, and the best money I have ever spent!
Over 12,000 trouble free, perfect ride miles ( lots at over 90 mph) :applause:
Can not say enough here.
Best phone call I ever made.
Thanks Dexter

Do you want to buy an axle, or have one installed? How long in town? PM me for a phone number.

Brian

What Did Henderson build for you? I suspect you are not the first person to have a HF trailer axle issue.

Dexter and torflex axles can be had for free or cheap all the time, keep an eye out for an old tent trailer. I had two given to me last year, one had a nice dexter axle, the other has a torflex.
