The Spring Clean will be our first camp this year

Postby mkitchen » Sun Mar 02, 2014 10:20 pm

Well Mo and I were all set to take off this last Thursday for a four day camp out at Anza Borrega State Park. After a closer look at the weather, I chose to stay home and do the improvements to my garage that I have been meaning to do for the last year. At this point, it sounds like I made the right decision. It looks like the southern CA desert got a pretty good dousing. In fact we got a pretty good dousing here as well. So this next weekend at the Spring Clean will be our first campout of the year. Usually by this time of the year we have been out camping at least three of four times.
We are really looking forward to getting together with our friends. This next weekend is going to be GREAT!

Our first camping this year, also. It looks like the weather will be pretty good. We plan to be there Thursday mid-afternoon.

Great, looking forward to seeing you. How long of a drive is that for you?
We did a trip a couple of years ago from Kingman through Utah, WY, MT and Idaho but we were taking our time and didn't really watch the miles or days. Sure do love Utah though and want to spend a lot more time there. Wouldn't mind at all if you stopped by our camp and shared some of your favorite spots with us. We will be in the SoCal TD.

The drive runs about 12 to 13 hours. We usually overnight in Page on the way down. We have attended all the Spring Clean gatherings except the first one that Steve organized. We will go visiting after setting up.
