I use my garage. Bought a shed to house the stuff I had to take out to make room for it. Massachusetts winters sort of dictated I needed something more than a flimsy cloth cover of some kind. I have about 4 inches clearance on each side to get in it, and about a foot between the trailer hitch and garage door. But I know it is totally safe out of the sun (year round) and the icy and snowy winters. I put around $5K into materials and a lot of time, and to me the safety factor is worth it.
