Camp Stove Deal

I have nothing to do with them but OutdoorCamping.com has a great deal on some
factory seconds for a camp stove.

http://tinyurl.com/kg4vqp2 I have too many stoves already or I would order one of these.

If your referring to the Camp Chef Rainier, we bought one from Gander Mountain but after looking it over took it back.

We have been using a Coleman Roadtrip grill when we are out for more than a few days. The blue one, not the older model with the two wheels. Nice unit, has 3 different cooking surfaces for the it's two burners, removable drip pan for easy cleaning.Mary likes that it has a solid griddle surface as one of the options and no matter what cooking surface is on it the lid can be closed. BUT, it's BIG and a bulky thing to carry around. A camping friend has the Rainier so we bought one. First impression after buying it was it's a cheap piece. The grate over the burner didn't set right, wobbly, the griddle surface is thin metal with little folding legs just held on with a pop rivet, can't leave the griddle on and shut the lid. We decided we were better off using our old Coleman two burner propane stove and a frying pan when we didn't want to take the Road Trip grill. One of those things that looked like a good idea but we later decided it wasn't for us. Note that we just spent 3 months in one campground being snowbirds, so the big Coleman worked good for us there. The price referenced above is certainly a good deal though if it is what you want. We paid $99 at Gander Mountain. At $59 we may have kept it. It did come with a decent carry bag!

Almost forgot, the Rainier has wind wings, but if you don't hook them on, the lid won't stay upright, it falls back over flat. Our old Coleman 2 burner stove has lid stops to hold it up without the wind wings attached. The Rainier has one round burner on the right like most normal stoves, the left has a long tube burner similar to most outdoor gas grills. Not the greatest setup if you were using two pots to cook with.
