Help! I can't hang on!

Finally came to an agreement with Kat on where to put the paper towel holder.
Tucked in back under the lower cabinets.

Kat found a ceiling light bear pull chain to use for the unraveling weight.

There's not enough width between the cabinets to pull the threaded axle sideways to put a new roll on, so I ended up putting a counterbore in the end plate to catch the knob. The other end screws into the other end plate. When screwed in, the knob is captured by the counterbore. A slot allows the axle to drop free downwards when unscrewed.

Two years after "finishing" it, and I'm still working on our tear.

Oh, Oh...Was that my fault because I asked about the paper towel holder? (I still haven't decided on mine!)

Yours looks great! :applause:  :applause:

Sam,

Good solution!

Rob
Waiting for "someday" will leave you on your deathbed wondering why you didn't just rearrange your priorities and enjoy the time you had, instead of waiting for a "better" time to come along...
