Home from Dam Gathering

Postby Vedette » Sat May 10, 2014 11:18 pm

Just to let everyone we had so much fun with at the Dam, know that Sandi and I finally got home from the Dam tonight.
We saw some great country and stayed in some beautiful campgrounds over the past two weeks.
Total trip was smooth as silk. Miss Piggy performed perfectly and Sandi honed her skills at Dutch Oven cooking! :applause:
Found lots of new wines and made lots of new friends! :wine:
3325 Kms in total.
See you at the Gorge!

I'm glad you and Sandi had a good time and a safe trip home. Sorry that I didn't think of the campground when you asked. I was just too tired to think of it. I'm betting that it had something to do with McCloud and the McCloud Falls. I love that area.

I'm impressed with how you can drive so many miles and it doesn't even phase you. I would like to have the energy that you have!

Thanks Sharon
We broke our trip into shorter driving days and earlier arrivals this time.
It really helped and we arrived home very relaxed and happy with our memories of each day we were on the road.
There is just so much out there to enjoy along the way.
Looking forward to the next time we can get together.

I'm glad you guys made it home safe and sound as planned. Sorry I couldn't make the dream trip up to your Farm, and I do hope you have a good turnout for your planned gathering. Thanks for the frendship and help loading the trailer. Damn, something was missing from the hitch, but we caught it in time to prevent a problem. :-) Long-live one-of-a-kind teardrop trailers!
:D :? ;) Roly

Thanks Roly
We will see you again at the IRG my friend.
Worked the last two days on the camping area, here at the farm........really sunburned!
My computer is having issues with e-mails, so I have not been able to talk to you lately. :(
