He's only been missing for two weeks. He just hasn't posted anything sense the midle of July. He's probably camping some place that is cool and has no wifi. It's been real hot down here the last few weeks.

But, we too have not heard from him since Mid July, and today is the 1st of Sept.

Roly will be campin at Hurkey Creek Sept. 19-21. I can't wait to pick his brain bout my galley. I bought a 1946 aluminum homebuilt and need sum ideas /help with designin my galley.We, here in SoCal are so lucky to have such talent and personality in our midst ! He's our Oscar winner... our World Series winner.. Daytona 500...Kentuky Derby.. etc. He only won Best Teardrop "Spirit" award.. uhhh... THREE TIMES IN A ROW !

Got a nice e-mail from Roly today.
Computer problems have been keeping him away from the Forum of late.

Wow folks, thanks for the concern, but I am alive and well, and finally got this PC to let me log on with out telling me to wait forever, while new stuff is being uploaded by AOL. By the time I get that message, it is late at night and I don't want to wait and wait, so it's beddy-by for me. Oh, and by the way, I am now a year older, since I just turned 82 last week....only 18 more to go before I can bed down in my Woody on my 100th birthday. :-) Gotta keep positive thoughts and continue walking my dogs about a mile, every morning and every night........Whew..

Yep, Hurkey Creek is in a couple of weeks, 5000 feet high in our local mountains, a little over an hour's drive from where I live on the rolling terrain about 30 miles from the ocean, in So Cal. I will be camping in my newly remodeled, 6 foot, 145 lb Stacker-1/4 Nelson-trolley top-sunroof. Now I can see the stars and moon from my bed.......just like I can in the Stealth Fighter through the 5 pilot's canopy windows. No other models being considered, 5 is enough.
Roly, the li'l ol' woody guy, still camping and lovin' it.

Does anyone out there have any pictures of your latest modification or your stealth tear. I'd love to put a picture to your words. still working on the Ladybug-out got a couple questions. When you fiberglass-ed the seams of the Stacker what did you use? The Lowe's product that goes with the bondo? Also about that tongue extension that is easily removable, how long is it inside the frame and any close up on installation? I'll have some time today to work on it
