A small group of us are on a recon mission along Hwy. 20 in Northern Washington.
We will be exploring camping facilities along 20 starting on Thursday Sept. 11th.
First night will be in Conconully followed by a night in Winthrop (Friday) at Pine Near campground.
Then on over the Cascade Mountain range to Baker Lake for Saturday night.
You are invited to join us for one or all of these nights or Sunday, Monday????? if you can.
Love to meet new Teardrop campers in the North West.

Wow, Brian! That sounds like fun. We love North Cascades Park and the Methow valley (Winthrop etc). I'd love to do that sometime. We'll be firing up the dutch ovens on the Oregon coast this weekend, but we're with you in spirit! Have fun!

Happy trails,
Richard & Elaine

We've been out quite a bit....every chance we get (as I'm sure you do too).

We're going to be at the Oregon sand dunes this weekend with some friends.....I want to take Elaine on a sand rail up by Florence; they're a real kick!

You guys have a great time! Drive safe and enjoy all that beautiful scenery.

Sand Dunes are cool!
We went out on the "Big Blue Buggy" when we were there last year.
It was money well spent and the driver was great fun!!
Enjoy.
We will have a glass of red for you....and maybe even a marshmallow??

My Fiancé and I might take our trailer out again this weekend but we have two Family/Friend BBQ's to go to, so I don't think we will be able to make it out. We would love to finally meet you both, Brain & Sandi, and admire your one of a kind Miss Piggy trailer. I just don't think we can make it fit in our schedule this time around. Take lots of pictures and have fun!

Safe travels and Good roads!

"we will have a glass of red for you....." am glad you said red being I was going to ask if your choice was red or white being I did not remember which. Will be heading to Baker Lake Saturday directly after work, keep your eyes open for a RED Suzuki Swift/GEO Metro - will go to Horseshoe Cove first than look else where. Should be in the area around 2PM. Ted

I can testify to the fun factor to be had at the Dunes. Even though I was riding a Suzuki king quad complete with 2 boxes and a winch, I had a blast. When you get done riding, everything is still clean. No dust, no mud nothing. The kids on the two wheel drive quads looked like more fun though. I would recommend this kind of fun.

Hi Ted
Great News!
Thought you had to work all weekend???
And Yes, I did see the weather report..........as we were worried it might be damp on the other side of the mountains. :R
Sandi says she will pack one of our larger DO's so that there will be lots of food to go with that "Red".
And Bryce
Not to drag you away from friends and Bar-B-Qs, but we would love to meet you guys too! :)
Where are you located?
Our goal here is to attract fellow Teardrop owners living in the NW, so we can to get to know each other for future campouts.
Hope you are able to make it!

Currently living in Everett but our Trailer is stored up in Arlington, just north of Marysville. We have yet to take it to Baker Lake, which is a shame, I love it out that way. The North Cascade Highway is a Beautiful Drive. I love The PacNW, already planning for next years adventures!!

Well, we are home from a GREAT weekend.
There were only 3 TD's in our caravan across Hwy. 20 checking out campgrounds and points of interest for a planned "Crawl Across 20" in the Fall of 2015.
Jim & Jean from Kalispell Montana, Larry & Babby from Colville Wash. and Sandi & I from Westbank B.C.
And Ted did finally catch up with us briefly on Sunday in Concrete, from Camano Island.
While travelling to and from the Okanagan Valley to the Western Side of the Cascades, we did have some "Teardrop Sightings" ......one heading east on Friday between Omak and Winthrop. Two heading east (towed by jeeps) on Saturday crossing the Cascades. and one heading west Sunday afternoon near Lake Diablo.
Was it You????
This is more teardrops than we saw in our entire 10,000 mile trip last summer. :R
September weather was great and the campgrounds were not overly busy (no kids) but we did learn lots.
Thus, we have made some decisions about next year's "Crawl" and picked a date.
Now we need to spread the word and attract some NW Teardroppers!

Sounds like a fun run! Guess I should pay more attention to the forums. Maybe next time!

Great!
As we were out to another Gathering this past weekend, that was poorely attended.
And the main discussion was related to "How can we inform & inspire NW Teardroppers"? So they can join in the Fun!
We encourage everyone we meet to visit the TnTTT as much and as often as the can, so as to take advantage of the information that is posted here!
Thus, it was decided that we would launch a "Post" entitled "North West Chat".
This post will be an ongoing thing that we hope will stay at the top of the General Discussion section of the Forum, allowing those of us who have met over the past couple of years to correspond with each other openly here on the Forum. With specific information about what we are doing related to Teardrop Camping!!
Hope you join in.
