wall mounted gas grill

Postby Askewman » Sun Nov 02, 2014 11:51 pm

Hello, I have an Aussie portable gas grill and I've seen wall mounts for this grill on new tent trailers. I'm looking for the mount but cannot seem to find it. I was wondering if anyone is familiar with this grill and accessories.

Since I couldn't come up with any wall mounts specifically for the Aussie with a Google search, perhaps the ones seen on new tent trailers are a tent trailer factory innovation?

How about making one using a mounting rail like these available from vintage trailer supply?

One piece mounts to the trailer wall, the other to the item to be mounted. Easy on and off. We use a set for an exterior cooking table.

Yes, and if you have a 3" piece left over, You ad it to the other end of your table (where ever you are cooking or preparing food)
with the female piece riveted to a handy bag holder. And you have a wonderful camp garbage bag right where you need it!
One of our TJ Chapter members makes these up as Dutch Raffle prizes (they are highly sought after) and I am sure Ted will chime in here with a picture.

I am the Ted, Brian spoke of and I am not computer savvy on sending pictures here on the internet but if you go to just about any RV supply store they can sell you a 30 inch piece of what they call a "Table Slide", it is a two piece set of aluminum strips 1 male/ 1 female that fit/hook together for about $10.00. The part ## of what I have in front of me is #P6G 164922. There is no brand name on it, just seems to be a generic brand. The place I get it from always stocks a piece or two of it. The pop up trailer we have now came with a grill mount that attaches to the side wall of the camper via one of the 2 piece table brackets.

This is a new grill w/ the mount that my grill did not come with:

MtnDon - my teardrop has tables that mount to both sides using the brackets that you sent in the link, and I'm almost positive that this grill mount attaches to them as well. I've emailed the manufacturer, hopefully I'll get a response.

Is anyone else mounting their grill or stove to the side of the trailer to save space? I wonder if it'll get the wall too hot. I don't have any new pictures of the trailer, but the craigslist ad that the person I purchased it from is still up. Let me know what you think:

If it does get to hot between the stove and the trailer side, is there not some simple heat shield that could be leaned up behind the stove when in use?
