Here are two pictures, one is of my son in Afghanistan (now a drill sergeant), the other is my dad from WWII. They would both be in their early 20's in these two pictures. Thanks to all of our veterans, past, present & future.

A big hearty "Thank You" to all past, present and future vet's. True Hero's. Looking at your son and father I see a strong resemblance. You cannot have too many 40 mm grenade rounds either. :D :D :D
I fear the day that technology will surpass our human interaction, the world will have a generation of idiot's.

Can't believe it's been 36 years since I left the Army. Seems like only yesterday. I was a 94B20 (cook/baker) and at the time, everything was made or baked from scratch in the mess halls. We ate pretty damn good (even out in the field) and I hope the current troops are being fed as decent as we were.

The only thing I hate about genuine rememberince days is that it's often used to promote paranoia, over zealous patriotism and hate.the government use it to thier advantage too
If we do our duty to remember our fallen they won't be embarrassed or forsaken in what we do in thier name
